Time & Departure Points in the Chicagoland Area
There will be three meeting points. We will be
meeting at these locations at 7:30 am and leaving at 8:00 am. We
want to
come
down
as a large caravan, so please try to leave from one of these
three meeting locations. It is also important to meet at one of
these
locations, because we plan to be handing out GOTV phone lists.
It would be great for people who aren’t behind the wheel to
make calls during the drive up to Madison. Meeting locations are:
Chicago -- Sears Parking Lot, 1824 W. Lawrence
Evanston -- DPoE HQ, 826
Custer
Oak Park -- Old Navy Parking lot, 417 N
Harlem
All of these locations are accessible by public transportation.
If you need it, we can provide detailed directions to get to any
of
these pick-up locations.
From these meeting locations, we will drive to Madison for the
rally on the Capitol steps. This event will help energize Wisconsinites
and residents throughout the Midwest to get active in the final
five
days of the campaign. Also, registered Wisconsinites will walk
to Madison City Hall after the event to early vote for John Kerry.
Senator
Kerry needs you to come bring your energy and determination to
help get George Bush out of the White House and change the course
of history.
So let's show Wisconsin that hope is on the way... in Chicago and
throughout the Midwest.
